2012 Race Results

Welcome to the 2012 Homestead Husky Hustle!

REGISTRATION

5K $20 ($40 Race Day) OR 1  mile $10  ($20 Race Day)

Cash or Check only, payable to: Homestead PTA

Registration can be filled out in person or mailed to Homestead Elementary at the attention of the Husky Hustle by April 20, 2012.

Race Day registration will be available beginning at 7 am and will continue 8:15 am or until bibs run out.

Registration is available online at prerace.com thru April 26, 2012 at 11:59 pm.
 

T-SHIRTS:

Official race T-shirts are guaranteed to those who register BY APRIL 13, 2012.

PACKET PICK-UP:

Packet pickup for PRE-REGISTERED runners will take place at Homestead Elementary School on Friday April 27 from 6-7 pm.

Packet pick-up for ALL RUNNERS will take place on race day beginning at 7 am.

This flat and fast USATF 5k course takes you through the Homestead neighborhood, Wheatland Park, and uses the FVPD bike trail. Water and split times will be available at the 1 and 2 mile markers. (IL-10008-JW)

5K - AWARDS

Overall first place male and female finishers in the 5k will receive a trophy. 5k age groups, male and female, 1st - 3rd place will receive a medal:  5 & under, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

5K - Race by weight instead of age!

Runners/walkers can choose to enter the 5k in Clydesdale/Athena weight division instead of by age:

Males/Clydesdales can compete in 1 of 4 categories:

A 170-184,
B 185-199,
C 200-224,
D 225+

Females/Athenas can compete in 1 of 4 categories:

A 135-144,
B 145-154,
C 155-169,
D 170+. 
 

Mark your registration form if you choose to compete by weight division. Weigh in on race day will be mandatory.

FINISH

Both, the 5k and 1mile, races will be clock timed by RaceTime. RaceTime will provide computerized race results. Race results will be available online at:  racetime.info, and homesteadpta.org

PRIZES

All race entrants, in the 5k and 1 mile, will be eligible to win prizes in the random drawing held after the race. Winners MUST be present to receive prize.

CHILDCARE

Race time childcare is available free of charge! Childcare will be provided for the children of those registered in the 5K and or the 1 mile. Childcare will be provided in the Homestead Elementary School gym.  Children may be dropped off prior to the start of the race, and must be picked up as soon as you finish the race.

One Mile Race

This one mile course takes you through the Homestead neighborhood, and uses a scenic, tree lined bike path.  This race is clock timed. All runners will receive a bib number and participant ribbon. This race is ideal for younger children with or without a parent.

AWARDS

 Overall first place male and female finishers, 14 and under, in the 1 mile will receive a trophy. AGE GROUP ONLY finishers will receive a ribbon: 5 & under, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12-16, 17-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 50+

PARKING

Limited parking will be available at Homestead Elementary until 7:30 am.   Street parking IS AVAILABLE on Providence, Lansdale, Grandridge Circle, Fairmont, etc.  PARKING IS NOT ALLOWED on Hillsboro Blvd or Middlebury Drive!

PLEASE NOTE:

Walkers and runners with baby joggers or strollers ARE allowed, but they must start behind the runners.

Bikes, skates of any kind, scooters, and skateboards are prohibited!
