Primary Annual Fundraiser

The primary fall fundraiser proceeds are used to fund the majority events, programs and activities PTA sponsors. Our profit from the 2010-2011 school year was successful at $7,108.80 and we’ve decided to continue with Market Day for the 2011 - 2012 school year. Market Day will continue to offer great items such as wrapping paper and other gifts.  Packets will be sent home with students after the Fundraising Assembly. 

Our goal for 2011 - 2012 is to raise $10,000. This year we are fundraising to provide in-school assemblies and events to supplement field trips that have been cut due to budget constraints. Please help us meet our goal by participating in the Annual Fall fundraiser, sending a donation, and supporting the additional fundraiser throughout the year. If you have ever wondered what our fundraising supports, check out the table below and reach out to any member of the PTA Board with questions.

What Does Our Fundraising Support?

Through our fundraising efforts and parent support, Homestead PTA is able to offer programs, events and school support. Look below to learn more about each of the PTA-sponsored items and what percent of the budget is allocated to that area.

Additional Fundraisers

Market Day Grocery Program
Support Homestead by shopping through the monthly Market Day Grocery program. You can place an order on-line or with the paper form.

Box Tops for Education: We earn 10 cents for each Boxtop we collect. This is cash for us to use at our discretion. www.boxtopsforeducation.com or www.btfe.com

Restaurant Nights
Join your Homestead friends and families at a sponsoring restaurant. Homestead receives a percentage of the proceeds.

Culver’s Day Come out and take part in Culver's Day at the Oswego Culver's - Route 34 and Douglas Road in Oswego

Every third Wednesday of the month, Culver's Restaurant, in conjunction with the Homestead PTA, hosts a "Culver's Day".

Simply bring the participation sheet with you to the Oswego Culver's on a date indicated, turn it in to the cashier when you order and 10% of your total food and drink purchases for that day (before tax) will be donated to the Homestead PTA!

And there's even more good news...The participation sheet can be used ALL DAY - not just for dinner, so you can go to Culver's when it fits YOUR schedule.

Bonus: The class that earns the largest donation each month receives an in-school ice cream party, compliments of Culver's!

So join your fellow Homestead families at the Oswego Culver's on the third Wednesday of each month for delicious food, socialization and to support your Homestead PTA!
